RUGGED, PROVEN TECHNOLOGY:
Portable One analysers are rugged, efficient and provide high performance with advanced soft-key front panel operation.
They carry comfortably via the retractable handle or in the optional soft case, with front panel and display protected by the hide-away door.
Designed for field or lab, Portable One test sets sit flat on a shelf, tilt upward on your bench, or stand on their feet on the floor.
AFFORDABLE PERFORMANCE:
Efficient circuit topology and component selection provide comprehensive capability and excellent performance at prices competitive with or lower than single channel instruments or instruments of lesser quality.
EASY TO USE:
Measurement functions are simply selected from the front
panel; just press a button and make a measurement. View real time readings, bargraph or graphs on the
front panel and also save or print them for future reference.
Save 30 complete instrument setups,
including graph data for convenience and later review.
-
Comprehensive measurement functions.
-
Internal sweeps, graphs & printer port,
including single and dual channel graphs with cursor.
-
3 to 150 steps per sweep or ISO standard
frequencies.
-
External sweep mode.
-
Loudspeaker monitor.
-
Internal Save and Recall of 30 tests.
-
Optional GPIB port for IEEE-488 control.
PORTABLE ONE PLUS
ACCESS
Portable One Plus Access is a comprehensive analogue
audio test set. Twelve different measurement functions are easily selected
from the front panel.
-
Measures amplitude, signal-to-noise, distortion
(THD+N) , SINAD, IMD (option), frequency, wow & flutter, input impedance
plus AC mains check.
-
True 2-channel (stereo) modes measure two channel
level, phase, amplitude ratio and crosstalk.
PORTABLE ONE DUAL
DOMAIN
ANALOG+DIGITAL+ AES/EBU/IEC
Portable One Dual Domain® is a comprehensive audio
test set for both analog and digital audio, as well as for generation and measurement
of AES/EBU/IEC digital characteristics such as jitter.
Like our System One and System Two products, Portable
One Dual Domain features true Dual Domain architecture. Digital signals
are generated and measured purely in the digital domain, resulting in the
-140 dB distortion and -140 dB noise residuals necessary for making useful
digital audio measurements.
-
True Dual Domain instrument, with independent
analog and digital generators and analyzers.
-
Includes all the functionality
of the analog Portable One Plus above.
-
Digital Audio – Generate signals and measure
level & ratio, THD+N, frequency, phase, noise &
crosstalk, IMD.
-
Digital interface – measure key interface parameters,
including jitter, sample rate, AES signal voltage, frame delay and
delay relative to house sync.
MAJOR OPTIONS
-
IMD – Intermodulation Distortion measurement and generation option; may also be retrofitted.
-
A soft carry case is available (P-CAS).
-
GPIB option – Portable One analyzers may be fitted with an IEEE-488 interface.
Portable One Dual Domain 96k Option – P1DD may be ordered with a 96kHz digital audio sampling rate option.
Portable One GPIB option – An IEEE Std 488.2 GPIB port is available as an option for the
Access and Dual Domain versions to control all settings, and to acquire measurements and sweep data. Visual Basic sample code and utility
programs for Windows 95/98/NT are provided on a CD-ROM. Analog features are supported with GPIB instrument
software drivers for current versions of National Instruments
LabWindows/CVI and LabView.
